By the methods described in a previous paper,we have studied the karyotypes of eight species of fishes in Cyprinus and Anabarilius,I.e.C.(Cyp.) longipectoralis C.(Cyp.) megalophthalmus,C.(Cyp.) pellegrini barbatus,C.(Nesocyp.) micristius fuxianensis,A.andersoni,A.macrolepis,A.grahami,as well as A.alburnops taken from Kunming lake and A.alburnops taken from Qilu lake and discussed the genetic and cytogenetic causes of speciation in these fishes.
The preparation of DNA was carried out ftom the pupa and larve of silkworm by the method of chloroform and detergent. The DNA preparation obtained was determined to have little or no RNA and protein.DNA is double stranded high molecule. The result of these experiments showed that the DNA preparation was capable of transformation.
15 fractions were obtained from the venom of Agkistrodon acutus by column chromatography.Chemical principles of biological activity of crude venom and every fraction were examined the experimental results are as follows:1.Crude venom and each fraction contain argininie esterase, protein hydrolase,alkaline-phosphatase,phospho-biesterase,5 -phospho-biesterase,5-nucleotidase,adenosine diphosphatase, adenosine triphosphatase,L-amino-acid oxidase and phospho-esterase A,but choline-esterase and ribonuclease are not found.2.Protein hydrolase,5-nucleotidase and adenosine diphosphatease exist commonly in crude venom and each fraction.3.Arginine esterase exists in crude venom and the sixth-to thirteenth fractions but the highest activity appears in the eighte fraction.4.The first and the fifth to thirteenth fraction show higher blood cagulant activity.Crude venom, the first, the second and the ninth to the fifteenth fractions show bleeding toxin,The twelfth (the mortality is 2/5 on mice) and the thirteenth fractions (the mortality is 3/5 on mice) show higher toxicity.Crude venom, the first, the second and the ninth to the fifteenth fractions show fibrinolytic activity.
The experiments were carried out with the dosages of 5 μg/kg,25 μg/kg and 100 μg/kg on 15 dogs for the anticoagulant action of defibrase from Agkistrodon acutus venom. The dogs were divided into three groups,5 dogs per group.Defibrase could conspicuously decreased the plasma fibrinogen of the 15 dogs (P<0.01).The decrease of fibrinogen induced marked anticagulant effect. The sample of blood was taken 5 hours after administration of defibrase and kept at 37℃ for 24 hours. The blood didnt coagulate. And the effect could last at least 24 hours. The spontaneous hemorrhagic complication and toxication were not observed. It showed that defibrase can play the anticoagulant role safely and distinctively.
In this paper, the author described the larvae of Chinese Chrysomyine flies. All larval specimens of the seven species studied in this paper were reared in the laboratory.

The types of the new species described in this paper are kept in the Tianjin Museum of Natural History.
This is a preliminary report of a new species of the genus Phytoseius.Type specimens of this new species is deposited in the Guangdong Entomological Institute.
Through the examination of the stomach contents of 124 house swifts secured in Mengzi,Yunnan province during 1963-1964,it has been ascertained that the house swifts are essentially insect-eating birds.
