  • 摘要: 中国与欧洲位于欧亚大陆东西两端,面积相当,蜘蛛物种数量相近,但地质历史不同。更新世全球80%冰川位于北半球,欧洲大陆作为全球海拔最低的大陆,大部分被冰川覆盖,许多物种灭绝。相反,中国山地众多,在冰川前进时山地是生物避难所,在冰川退缩时山地阻碍生物扩散。因此,中国蜘蛛物种数应该比欧洲蜘蛛物种数量多。该研究以燕山和太行山幽灵蛛属蜘蛛为例进一步证实了这个假说。基于16天的野外调查发现幽灵蛛属蜘蛛13新种。
