  • 摘要: 结合形态及分子分类学方法,依据采自重庆奉节的10号标本描述了猪尾鼠属(啮齿目:刺山鼠科)一新物种——白帝猪尾鼠(Typhlomys fengjiensis sp. nov. )。分子分析结果显示新种为属内一单独的支系,是大娄山猪尾鼠(T. daloushanensis)的姐妹种,与属内其他物种间存在较大的遗传差异(遗传距离在0.122至0.215之间)。形态上,新种与其姐妹种最为相似,但仍能从以下特征进行区分:(1)新种的体型及头骨更大;(2)具有深度向内弯折的颧弓;(3)上第一臼齿具有开放的中沟,在唇侧和舌侧均开口使其贯穿整个齿面,而大娄山猪尾鼠上第一臼齿中沟为半封闭状态,仅在唇侧开口。新种的发现提示中国南部地区猪尾鼠属的物种多样性可能仍被低估。
