Abstract: The testicular development cycle of Scylla serrata can be divided into 5 periods:the spermatogonium stage, the spermatocyte stage, the spermatid stage, the sperm stage and the resting stage.Based on the division of the development cycle, the diameter of the seminiferous tubule and the ratio of its mature sections can reflect the process of the testicular development. For the first time, the ratio of the mature sections is presented as a characteristic index of the testicular development.
