摘要: 恶性疟原虫对青蒿素的抗药性产生,严重影响了全球范围内以青蒿素为基础的联合疗法的显著疗效。因此,测定疟原虫对青蒿素类药物的抗性,对于防控至关重要。环状体阶段生存测定法(RSA),可以用于表征青蒿素抗性或青蒿素敏感性降低。在这里,我们综述了环状体阶段生存测定的方法及近年的研究进展,并探讨了其局限性和潜在的应用前景。Abstract: Artemisinin resistance in Plasmodium falciparum threatens the remarkable efficacy of artemisinin-based combination therapies worldwide. Thus, greater insight into the resistance mechanism using monitoring tools is essential. The ring-stage survival assay is used for phenotyping artemisinin-resistance or decreased artemisinin sensitivity. Here, we review the progress of this measurement assay and explore its limitations and potential applications.
